Ken Pratt works on content and communications, engaging Nesta Challenges’ audiences and keeping them informed of developments and the progress of prizes.
After two decades in the voluntary and public sectors working in health, social care and education, he moved into the creative and cultural sectors. In his editorial and creative roles, he has worked in a variety of industries ranging from international travel companies and glossy magazines to digital start-up apps and cultural diplomacy for embassies. In more recent years, his focus has been working with sustainable and ethical brands in the UK and abroad in luxury goods, travel, maritime and aquiculture sectors, among others.
Passionate and knowledgeable about art, he has curated numerous exhibitions at institutions in the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Slovenia and has contributed to art books and journals. He also loves cooking and is never more content than when experimenting in the kitchen and sharing his recipes and passion for food with others on his “hobby chef” blog.
